American Lawyer Media and Insight Info CLE are offering a two day legal technology conference in downtown Toronto. This "pioneering" event sounds like it will be the first legal tech conference based in Toronto since the last Toronto Legaltech (ALM).

Unlike the Legaltech shows in New York and LA, this one is priced to discourage any solo and small firm attendees, but so is the content positioned primarily for the GC and large firm lawyer and their IT staff.  Attendance starts at $1,295 for early birds, but if you're reading this, you've probably missed that deadline.  That price is $300 more than the "Master" pass in LA, and there are much cheaper day passes to the US shows; it would be interesting to know why corporate lawyers are more willing to pay for this "pioneering" event.

Try for one of the "free" exhibit hall + keynote passes, subject to agreeing to a deluge of promotional material from Insight.
